Design development explores how the structure will look 3-dimensionsally, using SketchUP to create a 3-D model of your home.

Design development is where the real fun begins.  During this phase, the two-dimensional drawings begin to take shape, as we create a 3-dimensional model of your home using SketchUP.  SketchUP is a super cool modeling software that allows us to build a digital model that can be virtually located on your site, using Google earth terrain imagery. Constructing a model in Google Earth enables you to see how the Sun interacts with your home.  SketchUP can display shadows on any day of the year, at any time of day. So, should you ask, will my swimming pool be in the sun or shade on the 4th of July at 2PM? then we can answer that question. 

But wait, there’s more! (okay, sorry for the cheesy infomercial reference).  SketchUP has a free viewer, which allows you to view your house on a laptop or tablet. So, spend as much time as you want exploring the house.
